Location:                  From Hwy 1, Head West onto Port Road
Best Tide:                 Medium
Best Surf Season:    Fall
The Surfers:             Hostile, keep a low profile
Skill Level:                Advanced
Boards:                    Gun for the point, Mid-Size Shortboard for the left
Hazards:                  Sharks, sharp bottom on low tides, locals, rusty objects in the shallows

Black Point Beach

Location:                Hwy 1 milepost 50.8, $3 prkg fee, 1/4 mile walk
Best Tide:               Medium
Best Surf Season:  Summer and Early Fall, or Winter during small swell
The Surfers:           No Local Scene
Skill Level:              Intermediate
Boards:                  Shortboard or Funboard
Hazards:                Sharks

Russian Rivermouth

Location:                 Hwy 1 signal to Goat Rock, turn west to State Park Rd to the end, walk to mouth
Best Tide:               Incoming
Best Surf Season:   Late Summer / Early Fall
The Surfers:            Some grumpy Locals
Skill Level:               Intermediate to Advanced
Boards:                   Shortboard
Hazards:           Sharks, many are here feeding on the sea lions

Salmon Creek

Location:                  North Salmon Creek prkg lot off Hwy 1, take a trail down
Best Tide:                 High
Best Surf Season:    Fall
The Surfers:             Not Crowded
Skill Level:                Intermediate to Advanced
Boards:                    Shortboard, Funboard, Gun
Hazards:                  Sharks

Doran Beach

Location:                 Hwy 1 to Doran Beach
Best Tide:                Higher
Best Surf Season:   Spring
The Surfers:            Not Crowded
Skill Level:               Beginner to Intermediate
Boards:                   Shortboard, Skimboard, or Bodyboard
Hazards:                 Possible Sharks in the area
